1 | Adam and Eve and Jesus | Bible general Archive 1 | Darktanianxx | 22131
Before Jesus created the world thru the Fathers will,it was predestined that He would be born in the appointed time and suffer beyond recognition and die for the sin of man, 1Peter 1:18 thru 21. He knew that mankind would sin and fall, and that thru the fall, God would make known the glorious riches of his heart [nature and character]. Adam and Eve were created in the image and likeness of God. In other words, they were created with the indwelling of God's Spirit, who is the image and likeness of God. The Holy Spirit gave them the ability to walk with God and have God's nature. God told them that in the day they eat of the fruit of the tree [of the knowledge of good and evil], or [ blessing and calamity], in that day they would surely die! When they did eat the fruit; that day they did die, spiritually! The Holy Spirit nolonger was indwelling them, and they were left with only the Godless human nature. They were blessed, but now they knew pain and calamity. Cain later killed Abel displaying the nature of man without the Spirit of God. Everyone that is born into this world is born without the indwelling of God's Spirit. That is why the world has so much pain and death. They walk in the Godless human nature with it's passions and lusts. Jesus showed us His heart throughout the ages and He made his love perfectly clear by leaving his power, glory and honor in heaven, and was born human. He was born of a virgin and not by the seed of man that he should be born under the fallen nature, but he was born of the Holy Spirit above the sin nature. He was ordained [given everything he needed to accomplish His Fathers will] and was rejected by his creation and put to death. He was raised from the dead and glorified beyond that of all creation. He now gives us the power to become His sons and daughters through His blood. If we believe in the truth of the gospel[thats faith], and will follow Him in death through baptism and be raised in the newness of life [born again] through the indwelling of His Spirit. We become just like him. We too shall recieve the end of our faith even as he did. A new resurrected body free from the carnal human nature[sin], if we continue to grow in His image and likeness through His Spirit within us!
2 | How does God speak to us? | Gen 1:1 | Darktanianxx | 29279
Answer: When we are born again [have the indwelling of God's Spirit], we are now able to understand the heart and mind of God thru the knowledge of the son of God. When we know and understand God, we automatically know his will. In other words we know not to kill. Not that there needs to be a written law by God that says dont kill, but that we feel inside of us that that is wrong. It is God's Spirit dealing with our spirit, telling us that it is wrong. We can feel it without ever seeing it written as a law. That feeling is called grace. In the same way, God gives us curtain desires to do his will. For example, if your at church and something is going to take place,[an event],and it requires someone to cook a huge meal for the congregation, and you feel inside a desire to be the one to do it, then that is the holy Spirit prompting your spirit to do it.Simply put, grace is God's Spirit giving you the desires to do His will. It is up to you to learn about the heart of Jesus so that you can grow strong in understanding what His will is! God will always speak to you in accordance to His will. I hope this gives you a better understanding. Read 1Corinthians 2:5 thru 16 If you read what I wrote above earlier, you will see that It say's; when you know the heart of Jesus. That should automatically be interpreted that it requires study. Read 1Corinthians 2:5 thru 16. Without the indwelling of God's Spirit we cannot understand the written record about the son (word) of God (the Bible).Study to show yourself approved, but study for the right motive! Learn about the thoughts, feelings and purposes of God;His Heart! Then if we are humble enough to recieve it, we will understand his will! |

3 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Darktanianxx | 58212
Satan is God's adversary. He was allowed to torment Job because of Job's pride. Job was righteous in his own eyes. God allows us to be disciplined through suffering, the same way Jesus was. The whole point is to get us to the point where we kill the godless human nature and all the rotten emotions we are born with and grow strong in God's nature and characture through His Spirit(born again).
4 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Darktanianxx | 58213
Job believed that the righteousness he had was of his own doing(pride). God allowed him to be tormented and humbled so that Job would learn that all righteousness is given from above and not of ourselves. The lesson of Job reaches to all areas of thought. We do not have the power or ability to pull down from Heaven the knowledge of the son of God. It is a gift to be recieved by those humble enough to recieve it. We can study for hours, days, weeks and years, and never come to the knowledge of the truth. If we sincerly seek to know God and His heart (thoughts, feelings and purpose)(our true reason for studying [motive]), He will reveal Himself. The purpose of God is to get us to be pure in thought as to who he is. when we have pride and the fruit of the flesh, which is the godless human nature that we were born with and all the emotions following them, we cannot know or understand God. We are disciplined to be humble, and taught to kill the human nature, so that we can grow in His nature and characture with all of his emotions, thoughts and feelings, with the fruit of His Spirit that follows them. If we endure hardship as discipline, then God is dealing with us as sons, and not outcasts. He will never leave us or forsake us........... Unfortunately we can forsake him. Many will not endure and fall by the wayside. Those who cling to Him and trust Him, will enter through the straight gate. It's a painful journey, but a rewarding one!
5 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Darktanianxx | 58239
steve, read 42:6.....Job says "Therefore I loath my words, and abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes."........ God was angry at Eliphaz because he did not repent for his words!.."I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has." Job was trusting in his own righteousness and God allowed him to be chastened. I stand by what I have previously written. Grace to you! :)
6 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Darktanianxx | 58240
Has satans motive changed since he was cast out of heaven? He is always out to destroy God.........I do not need to read an artical that will tell me satan is not Gods adversary. The bible says from the beginning that he is!
7 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Darktanianxx | 58307
I know his motives and how he works. I also know Jesus and His purpose and plan from the beginning to the end. If anyone can explain what it means for Jesus to be slain before the foundation of the world; what took place when Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit; Why the law was given and what was the purpose of Israel wandering for 40 years through the wilderness, and why Jesus had to be born of a virgin; then I would know they understand the purpose and plan of God. If a person don't know the foundation of the Gospel, then why should I give heed to their teachings???

[quote]Satan has to know he can’t kill God so what is Satan trying to do? This can’t be answered this side of heaven because we have not been given that answer[/quote]...... I think you might be presuming that he knows he can't kill God, and that the answer has not been given........[rev 19:19] "Then I saw the beast and the rulers and leaders of the earth with their troops mustered to go into battle and make war against him who is mounted on the horse and against his troops." ....... The ultimate goal of satan is to destroy God and all who follow him. Just because some one don't know the answer to something, does not always mean that one don't exist!
9 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Darktanianxx | 58341
[quote]I’m not sure what all that is about. I hope you weren’t inferring one of us doesn’t understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ[/quote].......I was saying though, that if a person cannot explain those reasons, then they do not understand the gospel, or what they are talking about! Those things are the gospel message as a whole picture and not just the simple part that Jesus died on the cross. Their is so much more to it than that, yet it is very simple to understand. Are you upset with me for trying to help others see the whole greater picture? The reason for the churches being divided in exponential ways, is because they don't understand the full entire gospel, just bits and pieces. We are to be of one heart, one mind, in one Spirit. Why do we even have Baptist, Assembly of God, Church of Christ? etc, etc... Did not Paul himself say, were we born into anything other than Christ?! No, but they still go on divided. The purpose for Jesus comeing to earth then was perfectly made clear in [luke 3:5,6]. Today, the way has been made crooked and the smooth roads have been made rough.

[qoute]Your sure Satan thinks he can kill God and personally I don't think he is that stupid. I think there is he has some other seemingly obtainable goal[/quote] If you don't think he's that stupid, then why did he rebell in the first place? Second of he knows he has but a short time. He knows that he will be cast into the lake of fire. Even human logic cries out, that to not be thrown into eternal fire, he would have to kill God. You can believe what you want, but you will be missing out on an important way of looking at a piece of the truth. ........ |

First off, you might not understand that according to the scriptures that paul was talking about, goes back to Genesis. The promise of the Messiah was first told after the fall of Adam. Jesus said,"before Abraham was, I AM". To preach Jesus accurately you would have to know the beggining, not just the middle of the gospel. Im telling you the truth. Whether you believe it or not is up to you.
12 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Darktanianxx | 58387
The bible said we are to be of one faith, one heart, one mind.......You use a lot of cojecture, and the phrase " I think", but opinion and fact are two different things. Answer me this one question then. What does it mean, that Jesus was slain from the foundation of the world? [1peter 1:20][Rev 13:8] If you can't answer the simple questions concerning your faith, then how can you lead others to salvation? This question tells of the purpose and plan of God. Why we even need to be saved. My motive is to show you just how great the "good news really is. Before you answer, read 1Cor 2:5 through 16, preferably int he amplified if you have it.

I write this.....(First off, you might not understand that according to the scriptures that paul was talking about, goes back to Genesis. The promise of the Messiah was first told after the fall of Adam. Jesus said,"before Abraham was, I AM". To preach Jesus accurately you would have to know the beggining, not just the middle of the gospel. Im telling you the truth. 16 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Darktanianxx | 58429
[quote]God saw man fall in the Garden even before he created the Garden. God had planned for man's redemption even before man was created.[/quote].....You are correct in saying that! Now, if God created the world and man, knowing before hand that man would fall; How did man fall? Remember, he was created in the image and likeness of God. What is the image and likeness of God?

2:6 say's ..."we do impart a [higher] wisdom (the knowledge of the divine plan previously hidden);and verse 7,...But rather what we are setting forth is a wisdom of God once hidden [from human understanding]"(amplified) .....It is this hidden wisdom that I speak of.
19 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Darktanianxx | 58444
I am not talking about the wisdom of this world Ed. I am talking about the knowledge of the Son of God and His wisdom.
20 | a righteous man | Job 1:8 | Darktanianxx | 58449
Well since you weary of this, far be it for me to burden you with discussing the scriptures. My point is this: Adam and Eve were created with the indwelling of God's Spirit, which is everything that God is. His very nature and characture. When they sinned, it seperated them from God and they no longer had the Holy Spirit indwelling them. They were left with only the godless human nature and all it's fruit;envy, hate, jealousy, strife, greed, etc...All of Adams descendance were born in the image and likeness of Adam, not God. They were in the fallen condition with all those human emotions. That's why the world is the way it is! The whole scriptures is from this point on dealing with man's fallen condition/nature, and Jesus teaching about himself to lead them/us to an understanding of salvation to be restored back to His/God's nature. This is just the tip of the gospel message. .......If you already knew that, then you were given a pretty deep insight. If not, the story goes on. Should I bother?
