1 | thank you ... encourager | Eph 6:12 | khuck | 105275
To Joel and all of us a reminder: Your battles belong to the Lord as do you:) We think even on this forum that we struggle and fight sometimes with one another. Does anyone here believe that God wants us to bicker and fight over the His Word and hurt and offend each other. I can only think of one who desires this. Do you know why I sometimes come off as unbelieveably humble or forgiving? Because when I see strife entering into our threads... I know where it originates. We are the children of God and we have but one Enemy. When we fight God is not pleased, only satan is happy. (Hell is ecstatic). We only think we are struggling against Khuck, Tim, Searcher, EdB, Kalos, Aixen... that is what the enemy wants us to believe... but we have to try to remember what Paul said... Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. And in this I seek to find a way to always make peace with my siblings in The Lord... and then... AIN'T NOBODY MAD... Except the devil. If I hold my peace and let the Lord fight my battles, I know that the victory will be mine. If trying hard to walk upright, all my battles He will fight... I know that the victory will be mine. Put on your armor and Stand, once fully armed you will stand... because you will stand on a Rock. In Love to the Children of the Most High God, -Kathy |

2 | forgive me ... please | Matt 18:35 | khuck | 105267
Dearest Joel We all have up and down days, but isn't great they we get to live them all in Christ! You are forgiven and loved over here. It takes a big person to say I am sorry for behaving badly. A coward continues in his ways pointing the finger and never accepts accountabilty for his mistakes. You put yourself in the place of the former! I pray that God conitnually bless and keep you ALWAYS and IN ALL WAYS! And may His Peace be ever upon you! Yet, it would be remiss as your friend and sister in the Lord if I do not speak my heart... Your most personal insults were directed toward Searcher and you are not covered by offering a corporate apology, for personally offending a brother. (and he may not have been offended at all I don't know) We are called to say truth and in that I hope you are not offended by this admonishment. I do not add it in to be insulting, but to be in accordance with Truth. I do it not to defend Searcher (he obviously has his own voice) The Truth that I am trying to express is that repentance (apologies) should not have "if's and but's"... given in Love, they must be unconditional. Hopefully you will read this in the Spirit in which I offer it... and that is in Love and truth. I never consign the errors of the brothers/sisters who I love in Christ. Yours In Christ, -Kathy |

3 | Kathy .. why answer me here? | 1 Cor 13:11 | khuck | 105164
Oh Joel... I am learning and growing each and everyday just as you are. The words I chose were to only encourage you to endure through the trials. We all go through at sometime or another. My answer was directed to you. I have nothing to glory or gloat about regarding myself. I am not wise in my own eyes. It is no secret that I am nothing and no one special outside of my excellent friendship with Jesus. Am I ever wrong? Yes! Do I have all of the answers for this Forum? No! I questions some things that are said here, and I often wonder "why me?" I have questions of my own and often times due to the way some will always respond to my post, I have to find the courage that Christ promises that He gives me, to ask them anyway, without being intimidated. There are times I fear answering, but I know to fear is to doubt God, and I will step up and boldly respond, no matter the outcome. I often find that I must humbly approach yet even in humility, I must boldly go forth. I responded directly to you... and I accept what I got from you. I responded to your email as well as your original post. Let me add also to what you posted about losers: There are NO losers in Christ, and inside of every true loser there is the potential to be an overcomer and a winner in Him. Am I trying to appear wise? No. But I am going to continue my walk in Love and friendship with you. What I hope to be and appear to be to you is a friend in Christ. If I fail the test, then I will try all the harder, and you can count on that. God's Peace and Blessing be with you ALWAY and in ALL WAYS, -Kathy |

4 | don't be a LOSER | 1 Cor 13:11 | khuck | 105156
Dearest JoelK Though many of us here struggle to understand and appreciate one another, and at times we may quibble... It is my sincerest hope and belief that we all, (every "serious" believer on the Christ Jesus) seek to be one in Him. Even as misunderstood as I often am on this forum... those here who are more mature in Christ, have shown me why it is more beneficial for their sake as well as mine, that I remain, in spite of the bitter insults and misconceptions, that we ALL sometimes endure here. I choose to be humbly mature through it all... even though I have to step back often and pray for more grace. Yet, to give up on any true member of the Body, of Christ is to give up on Him and let myself down. There is a place where we can all peacefully agree... and that place is in Christ:) 1 Corinthians 13:10-12 When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known. I pray that God's Peace and Grace ever be upon you! In the Love of Christ, -Kathy |

5 | where should I go to church? | Acts 4:32 | khuck | 105075
Acts 4:32 32 And the congregation of those who believed were of one heart and soul; Ethnicity in the congregation should not be of issue as long as the congregation is not inhospitable to those of other ethnicities, genders, economic levels...etc (God is no respector of persons) If your Sisters' Church is teaching the true unadulterated Gospel of Christ, I don't think it really matters what color the people who attend the fellowship might be. 6 | is it wrong? | Gen 1:29 | khuck | 105071
Hi Sickhead: First marijuana is a controlled substance therefore it is by governmental law, illegal. Submission to the Authorities - Romans 13 1 Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. 2 Consequently, he who rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. Second it reminds me of the questioned recently asked is it a sin to drink alcohol: The Believer's Freedom - 1 Corinthians 10 22 Are we trying to arouse the Lord's jealousy? Are we stronger than he? 23 "Everything is permissible"--but not everything is beneficial. "Everything is permissible"--but not everything is constructive. 24 Nobody should seek his own good, but the good of others. If it is not edifying then it is wrong in my humble opinion. God Bless and Keep you, -Kathy |

7 | Who do you believe about Jesus? | Matt 22:42 | khuck | 105062
Hi Kalos :) I Believe God! Matthew 3:16-17 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and lighting on him. And a voice from heaven said, "This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased." I Believe Jesus! Rev 1:8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." Of course I believe the prophets and the apostles and those called by God, today as well as yesterday, they fill in the story line and the Spirit working within them that caused them to share the word, only confirms within Me that God is the Truth in Christ. And the Word given by the Spirit of God, whether given today or 3000 yrs from this day, will never change. IMHO... just my thoughts -Kathy |

11 | Jesus Created or Creator??? | Rev 3:14 | khuck | 104975
Hi Christian:) I am in agreement with Markarios and would add: John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. In him was life, and that life was the light of men. As we all know in the beginning God said, "Let there be... (AMEN: "so be it") He created the world with His Word. Jesus is the Word, The Amen. This is my understanding and belief. -Kathy |

13 | What think ye of Christ? | Matt 22:42 | khuck | 104967
Hi Noble :) I hope your Thanksgiving Day was indicative of who I have learned you to be (smile). Let me tell you what I think of The Christ, Jesus. He is the most valuable and cherished of my friends. It is hard to conceive in my mind how he could look beyond my wretched state of sin and Love me none the less, and choose to die in my place. (I am the one who deserves the humiliation and suffering that He endured) I think that Christ is the epitomy of all I desire to be. He is Love and He is humility, He is graceful and forgiving. He has healed my body and mind. He is my All in All, His very name has the power to calm my fears. He has shown me what I could not see. He has given me more than I could ever imagine. He has truly opened doors of opportunity in my life that NO one has had the power to close, and He and closed doors of my life that will never be opened again. He has offered me the right to eat from the Tree of Life. He has made me His and I know that He is mine. He has given me victory, over the enemy and He has given me joy in the midst of sorrowful days. I think He is radically AWESOME and there is not enough megabyte or pixel space on the world wide web, that could contain all the Good He is to me. What do I think about the One who is called Christ? I think He truly saves indeed, in every aspect He saves. He is worthy to merit my praise. And I believe that everyone who has Him (not knows about Him... But who has Him) they should share Him, with a lost and dying world! Noble....??? Don't you just Love Him??? :)Kathy |

Hi Joel Definition: 1.consecrated or devoted one, Nazarite a)consecrated one b)devotee, Nazarite c)untrimmed (vine) Translated Words: KJV (16) - Nazarite, 12; separate, 2; undressed, 2; NAS (16) - Nazirite, 9; Nazirites, 2; consecrated ones, 1; one distinguished, 2; untrimmed vines, 2; Ge 49:26 The blessings of thy father have prevailed above the blessings of my progenitors unto the utmost bound of the everlasting hills: they shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him that was *separate* from his brethren. Le 25:5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land. Le 25:11 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed. De 33:16 And for the precious things of the earth and fulness thereof, and for the good will of him that dwelt in the bush: let the blessing come upon the head of Joseph, and upon the top of the head of him that was separated from his brethren. Jud 13:5 - For, lo, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and no razor shall come on his head: for the child shall be a Nazarite unto God from the womb: and he shall begin to deliver Israel out of the hand of the Philistines. Jud 13:7 - But he said unto me, Behold, thou shalt conceive, and bear a son; and now drink no wine nor strong drink, neither eat any unclean thing: for the child shall be a Nazarite to God from the womb to the day of his death. Lamentations 4:7 7 Her Nazarites were purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were more ruddy in body than rubies, their polishing was of sapphire: Am 2:11 - AndI raised up of your sons for prophets, and of your young men for Nazarites. Is it not even thus,O ye children of Israel? saith the LORD. Am 2:12 - But ye gave the Nazarites wine to drink; and commanded the prophets, saying, Prophesy not. Hope this is helpful -Kathy |

16 | Are love and tolerance the best response | Prov 3:13 | khuck | 104867
Love is always the best response, but I feel that the church should not tolerate many things, Therefore I believe Love and Truth are better responses to confrontation and problems. Love and Truth. Just my opinion. -kathy |

18 | oral sex? | 1 Cor 6:18 | khuck | 104665
Dearest Jessica, Even it you do not consider oral copulation to be the same as sex or sexual intercourse, admittedly it is lustful or lascivious behavior. Therefore there is no support and actually only warnings against lascivious (lustful) behavior in the Scriptures. It is good to hear that you will be marrying. Yet dearest Jessica, save yourself for that day. Your virginity can only be given away one time. I do not say this in a manner to make you feel low or put down. I just always desired that I had the choice to give away my virginity to the man that I love and am now married to. I lost my virginity when I was 7 and it was not by choice, and my abuser did in fact force oral copulation upon me. Even at 7 yrs of age, I knew it was not what God desired for me. (this is not written to elicit anyone's pity so please no obligatory responses -thx) Yet Jessica I will tell you, God blessed me with my husband who chose to give himself in marriage, and one of the greatest gifts he ever gave me was his purity and virginity. The Bible does speak out against all behaviors of lust and lasciviousness. 2 Corinthians 12:21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall bewail many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed. Mark 7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness: Galatians 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Ephesians 4:19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness. I hope that this will shed great Light and Love, -Kathy |

19 | Jesus speaks disciple, what do we follow | NT general Archive 1 | khuck | 104575
Are we disciples of Christ, I hope so. Mere confession or profession of discipleship does not make a disciple or insure them a place in the Kingdom. Loving "SERVICE" with truth and humility shows greatness. We need our hearts to be annointed with the Holy Spirit of God in order to kindle Love, that looks for NO reward or recognition, but gives Glory to God. He Loves us so much He gave Jesus, His only Son for us! Jesus a sacrificial Lamb, who died for us because He Loved us, when we were yet sinners. Jesus laid aside His Divinity, His Royal Heritage to take the form of a "SERVANT". Christ had come to wash the stain of sin from the hearts of mankind. We must bring our sinful pollouted hearts into contact with Christ's Heart to rid ourselves of evil temper, vanity, lust, pride... etc, because He alone can wash us clean. His whole life was under a law of "SERVICE" if you will. He served all, ministered to all, and thus He fulfilled God's law and by His example, showed how we are to obey. The only greatness is in humility, the only distinction is found in "SERVICE" to others. We are to help and bless one another. Our lives to be given to unselfish ministry, because the world is full of those who need our ministry; The poor, the helpless, and the ignorant are everywhere and needing to know that Jesus came that they may have Life and that more abundantly! He is the Bread of Life. A light in darkness. He came seeking the lost. - *Gloria Dunn* This is what it means to me to be a disciple today. And I really believe that it is the heart of Christ thoughout the Ages. My mother wrote this to me and left it in written words, so the I would remember who I am and what I am called to do. I am a servant of Christ. - Kathy |
