Perry5, I realize this is an old question, but i'll tackle it just the same. The church you are speaking of does not represent all of christianity. There were many pagan rituals adopted by certain religions. This is satan's way to get to the followers of Christ. The only problem I see with what you are saying is that this (christianity) is not a religion, but a belief. Religions change, beliefs don't. If you have read the whole Bible, and not just the parts that you think will prove your misguided points, you will see that it is infallible. Now, I will ask you a question in turn. Can you show me a real god other than the one I know? I will give my own answer,I know you can't because there isn't one. I don't know what your religious beliefs are, but I can tell you that the GOD i worship is the creator, the ONLY GOD. Since you have your answer, is there anything else we can help you with? Love in CHRIST JESUS, believer |

Perry5, I was flipping through and saw your question posted. I replied and actually sent it to the wrong person. Just goes to show how hard satan will work to keep the Word from those who seek it. If your interested in my answer, read the posts to EdB. believer |

4 | God can use woman in the ministry? | Gal 3:28 | believer 2004 | 133775
A lot of men do pass over this scripture. I think it has to do with age. The older generation was taught that a woman had no place in the church. No matter how many times people are told to study the scriptures to prove everything true, they tend to go with what they are taught.1 thess. 5:21.,Rom.12:2 The statement Paul made about women keeping silent in the church is also often misinterpreted to mean there is no place for a woman.1 Cor.14:34-35. I think this was a warning to those who were using church as a place to gossip, or possibly were disrupting the service by asking questions in an inappropriate manner. There were prophetesses and priestesses mentioned in the Bible, and there were many women followers of Jesus, as well as many women active in the church of the first century. God Bless, Misty |

5 | how2recognizeTHEM? | Dan 2:43 | believer 2004 | 133474
I'm not sure I fully understand your question entirely, but I will say that I tend to believe that Dan:2:43 is referring to something other than government or marriage. The context leads me to believe that is referring to something actually mingling WITH the seed of men, internally as d.n.a. To otherwise translate it as marriage is adding something that is not there. It could be because people shy away from the horror of the reality of what is really going to take place. People wouldn't want to believe we could be deceived in such a way, but as 2 thess. 2:11 and Matt.24:24 say, as well as many others, people will be deceived into believing a lie, and we really don't know what that lie will entail. Hope this helps. Misty |

6 | Who is the "they" in this passage? | Dan 2:43 | believer 2004 | 133379
I also agree with Chuck Missler. It is a very controversial subject, but I believe that the Bible tells us that the Nephilim will return in the time of the end. Scripture reference:Matt. 24:37-39 Misty |
