1 | What do you think of Jesus? | Ps 22:1 | LampLight | 31820
My thoughts on this where Christ Cries Out "My God, My God, why has thou forsaken me", is from the terrible pain that Crist felt at the moment of his death of the seperation from the Father. For it grieved him to be seperated from his Father in heaven. It was not a cry of why must I do this. Christ knew from the beginning that he was sent here to be our Saviour, Our Emmanual (God be with us)....Did you receive the poem I e-mailed to you about the cross?
2 | God hates sin, loves sinner. Biblical? | Bible general Archive 1 | LampLight | 31468
Read 2 Tim 1:9 Grace is the Gift that we were given by the Father though Jesus Christ the Son upon the Cross at Calvary when he was crusified for us for our sins. Throught his grace, which is like Mercy Amplified....we are able to seek out the Father in Heaven in his Holiness, otherwise we would not be able to becasue of our natural sinful nature. It is through the Grace of Jesus Christ that God the Father can look upon us. That we are able to pray to him, that we are able to be pardoned for all of our sins. That we are able to build a personal relationship with Christ. As he is our counselor, our comforter, our great physician. After Christ was crusified on the cross, rose again ater 3 days and then Ascended back into heaven, we were left with the presence of the Holy spirit to be our internal comfort and guide. PLEASSE NOTE CORRETCION: ASCEND INTO HEAVEN (UP) My presious message was very well intended...In Gods Love |

3 | God hates sin, loves sinner. Biblical? | Bible general Archive 1 | LampLight | 31466
Read Matt 9:13 This quote is from the bible, however you must consider that there are various versions of the Bible. There is the New International Version which is where the quote you referenced came from, as this Bible spells it out in more common to understand terms, unlike the King Kames Version of the Bible which was taken from the Kings James Era and references more British types of terminology. IE: Thee, thou and tho. Round about, which means the same as surrond. Here is another quote from the Bible that is similar to the one you asked about. Jesus was sitting around a Table dining with Tax collectors and Politicians...the Pharisees, which is like the High Priests in the Temple, mummered amoungst themselves, "Why is this Jesus" the King of the Jews, the Holy one sitting, dining and talking amoungst sinners? Jesus, knew what they were mummering amoungst themselves and replied " It is not the well that need the physican? But he sick. That is why Jesus Loves the sinners and not the Sin. He Loves the sinners so that they may be saved by his Mercy and Grace. If you want to learn more about this I suggest reading the Bible from the beginning, at your own pace....don't stress yourself out about keeping a specific schedule at 1st. After you read each Chapter IE: Genesis, etc. Stop and think about it, write down your thoughts. This is how I got started and it has helped me tremendously. What reading the Bible does is give you understadning as to who God is, for he is the same yesterday, today, tomorrow and until and through eternity. He is never changing. The Bible is not only a guide on how we can live life to it's fullest with Christ as our Guide, but to better Understand God's character. The more you know about him, the more you can come to him. He is a very loving God!!! |

Read some of Revelations. It is hard to understand, but it does acknowledge that he indeed was at one time a Angel in heaven, who was indeed cast down becasue he felt that he should be worthy of being worshiped above God. Also read some of the new testament.

Refer to 1 Corinthans 7:1-7:40 regarding the duties of marriage. You are referring to 1 Corinthans 7:14. For the unbelieving husband is santified by the by the wife, and the unbelieving wife is santified by the husband; else were your children unclean; but now are holy. This is where the misunderstanding comes in. This statement in the bible refers to couples who were married as unbelievers, then one was saved which then saves the other. If one is a believer and the other is a non believer it is best not to marry as you are not of the same spirit, least the believer could weaken in his spiritual walk with Christ. We are to edify, encourge and uplift one another. This is more difficult when one believes and one does not. God greatly blesses a Marriage where both are believers and the rewards are great. There is a verse in the bible, do not know the excat verse off hand but it comes to mind when answering this question. We are to be of the same yoke. This interpretation is given like the image of 2 oxen yoked together in the field to do work side by side; one oxen is trained and disciplines to the yoke around it's neck, the other is not. Imagine the two of them yoked together in the field trying to do some serious work? Gods work and lifestlye is very serious and we must be comitted to his will, plan and purposes in our life. Afterall, his plan, will and purpose is best...when we trust him and do his will, it always turns out better than we could ever have imagined. Trust God, pray a little harder for him to reveal his will, plan and purpose for you life. |

8 | Duty of Pastor and Board Members! | Matt 5:13 | LampLight | 31321
We are the salt and the light of the earth by being Children of God. We are not here to serve things that serve us, but to serve one another in Love, Kindness and Patience. If you see a need in the Church, any need at all..Don't be afraid to express it (lovingly), even organize it. A little humor when mentioning this need would be helpful; ie: Since we are the salt of the earth, we need to spread some salt, least we all back slide : )
