AMPLIFIED 2015 | Matthew 5:13 ¶ "You are the salt of the earth; but if the salt has lost its taste (purpose), how can it be made salty? It is no longer good for anything, but to be thrown out and walked on by people [when the walkways are wet and slippery]. |
Bible Question: How would you look at a matter,., go to Church and the Parking lot...has ice all over it and the Church Board..sitting in there and it was so ice that I nearly had to crawl.? No salt on the ice or nothing...if I am looking at it wrong? tell me. but I think there was a job for someone to be out there and help folks in or put some salt on it..Help...really see the Board Members and the Pastor as come as you can.roll or crawl in... |
Bible Answer: We are the salt and the light of the earth by being Children of God. We are not here to serve things that serve us, but to serve one another in Love, Kindness and Patience. If you see a need in the Church, any need at all..Don't be afraid to express it (lovingly), even organize it. A little humor when mentioning this need would be helpful; ie: Since we are the salt of the earth, we need to spread some salt, least we all back slide : ) |
