This is absolutely silly and childish and I've read enough... not all, just enough... Why is it a group of people must attack and insult someone when they propse a "different" way of thinking? And I do not appriciate the pointing of fingers this way, I never "damned" any of your beliefs and yet you insult my inteligance and my spirituality... why? John 13:34-35 "A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. "By this shall man know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." No matter what you say to me, I know I take nothing out of context, especially when Christ himself gives us a commandment. And I feel nothing from you people but resentment and discontent. Your ignorance to this commandment is un-Christian in the very core I do not understand why so many take waht I say out of context and twist what I say... I'm sick of trying to be humble with my responces... Tim has been the only one here to show good charactor in correcting me in my explination... and good for you Tim, but for you others, I'm finished with this topic and will not post again since my posts are blantently ignored and twisted Joe... |

2 | Divisions in the church | NT general Archive 1 | Dachande | 98246
Proffitt, may I refer you to these two scripture... they're KJV James 1:5 "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, an upraideth not; and it shall be given him. and Oh I don't remember right now, but Christ says whatsoever you shall ask the Father, in His name, it will be done... if anyone could remind me where that is it'd be great... My advise, study all the church's you may come across and Pray unto God in Christ's name, there's a promise in James 1:5 that if you ask for knowledge you will recieve it... let the Holy Ghost testify to you on these issues that mere men may not be able to |

3 | Women Preachers? Yes or No? | NT general Archive 1 | Dachande | 98242
Wow, I didn't read everything said but you started a big discussion Journey Me... I'm just going to give my short opinion... dirrectly to your question... Keeping silence in the Church means the Priesthood, only males are authorized to bear it... females may still have many gifts, tounges, prophecy, etc... but not the Priesthood... the silence is more of a respect to the Priesthood than anything... and the Lord states, Do not lie with another man, as a woman lieth with a man... so being a public anounced sinner as a Bishop... ehhh I'm sure that's a no no... Journey, you're not being sexist, those who do justify against the scriptures are in err Similar reasons are why the Apostles wrote the Epsitles, to correct err's in practiced doctrine... but who now has Apostles to write to them like in that day? it makes it hard to decearn |

Excuse me, what about John 20:17? JC recognizes that he is subject to a Deity, the Father... that's a pretty strong seratation of persons... Christ explains being one with and in the Father; John 17 this is explained, further explination of two being one is Mathew 19 in dealing with marriage... Act 7:55-56, Stephan saw Christ standing ont the right hand of God... he saw 2 people... John 17 explains very well how many can be one in purpose but individual I do not attack you, but encourage you to think beyond one verse of scripture, when there are so many more that cannot be neglected... In short, my answer is, John10:30 is not enough evidence to support that specific doctrine |
