1 | How does God judge and who? | Obad 1:16 | BobJones | 211036 | ||
John 1.4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men. John 3.19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. In these verses it appears that John is saying that the life of Christ judges us. This is quite different than the popular belief that his life was an example for us. When he was tempted in every way that we are, he could not use one ounce of his deity to resist it or he would have an advantage over us in facing temptation. So his perfect life puts us to shame since we should have been able to resist as well. |
