1 | God keeps telling i am beautiful why? | 1 Sam 16:7 | jirehway | 158851
First of All God sees and knows your heart. You don't believe that you are beautiful, therefore God is using others to give you His message. As you become more like Christ, others will see Him in you and they will begin to call you beautiful. You are probably a beautiful person in the natural, but have a problem with self esteem and cannot see yourself as God and others see you. The true beauty comes through your spirit. Read Song of Solomon and see how the woman describes herself and how her beloved sees her. I suggest that you ask God to begin to allow you to see what He sees as beauty in you and stay humble before Him. Agape, Jirehway
2 | Can women rule in civil life? Isaiah 3:1 | Nah 3:13 | jirehway | 133498
I do not believe that the passage in Isaiah actually means women any more than Nahum 3:13, I Samuel 4:9 and I Cornithians 16:13. God is dealing with the spirit behind the actions and women were not usually considered highly intelligent, wise, strong. Deborah was the exception rather than the norm. In no way is this a case for homosexuality, however I do not believe the bible teaches woman's lib. The be fair in my expression, neither does it teach that women are possissions. You would be going beyond rightly diving the word if you tried to use these scriptures to say that Christian woman should not be in civil politics. Are you trying to say that only the Jezabels (Ahab's wife) are allowed to rule or govern? I am not being sarcastic, just giving my point of view. |

3 | What does water and Wine signify in John | John 2:1 | jirehway | 175281
I believe that the water represents the natural and the wine represents the blood of Jesus and that this is a prophetic incident pointing to the crucifixion. The last symbloic thing Jesus did with His disciples before His arrest and crucifixion was to share the cup with them. He did say, I only do what my Father says to do and I only say what my Father says to say, therefore although He knew His time was not yet, He did hear from the Father and acted upon what He heard. His disciples did believe on Christ as Messiah when this first miracle took kplace among the common people of thecommunity - not the religious leaders.
