1 | defiling bodies by eating meat? | Bible general Archive 3 | InGodITrust | 187943
Angel72, As Moran61 said, "what scripture are you referring to? If you are talking in general then defiling ones body has more to do with sexual sins. They are many out there that would tell you "all kinds of stuff." And, of course, are we talking about a New Testament issue or an Old Testament issue as there would be a different frame of reference? Looking forward to your response. InGodITrust |

3 | Can the devil tune in to our thoughts? | Bible general Archive 3 | InGodITrust | 188224
Matt 6:33, One of my favorite verses, Matthew 6:33.... I would like to add my thoughts to your question of, "can Satan read our thoughts." I realize the Bible does not specifically say yes or no. But think about it, only human beings have a mouth, tongue, vocal cords, and so on; spiritual beings do not of which Satan is one. Second Corinthians 4:4 states, "the god of this world has blinded their minds..." indicating that Satan can/has put thoughts in human minds. To me it is obvious that all spiritual beings communicate (or can) without the use of a "tongue." Well, how then do they communicate if they do not have vocal cords and a tongue? It seems obvious they communicate telepathically. If this is so, I would suggest they can read our thoughts, whether believer or unbeliever. I have walked with God over 40 years and am very conservative and cautious. This is strictly "my opinion" and just that, an opinion. However, I base this on many many years of observation with both myself and others. Again, it is just my observation; But, how else do "spiritual beings communicate?" And, are we also going to say that "God can not or does not read our thougts?" The scriptures clearly say He does, and if so, there is nothing to indicate in scripture that other spiritual beings can not. Psalm 139:4 says, "even before there was a word on my tongue, behold, O Lord, Thou dost know it all." Interesting isn't it............? Your thougts? (or anyone else....) InGodITrust |

7 | different NASB versions? | Bible general Archive 3 | InGodITrust | 189290
greatscott, Greetings, Good day. The Lockman Foundation continues to update the NASB as they feel necessary. My NASB is copyrighted on 1976 and since then they have had several revisions. Don't worry, they are all accurate and trustworthy. Question answered? InGodITrust |

11 | Why the NKJV over the NASB ? | Bible general Archive 3 | InGodITrust | 189740
Hay there justme, Very good question, one of which I am not at all shy about answering. Tradition, tradition, tradition!!! I have studied Greek for some years now. When I first started studying it I notices that my KJV had many adjectives and prepositions "wrong." I am told, been years, that King James was very fond of the Catholic Priestly system and the Pope's ultimate authority over the people. If you study history King James was anything but a nice guy! I have read that the scholars who translated the KJV were well aware of this issue. Personally I have confirmed that the priesthood of the believer was specifically watered down to appease the King. Frankly I believe this as the prepostions preceeding the priestly issues (and numerous others as well, by my own personal experience) were changed to lesson the Biblical fact of our individual priesthood. The NASB and the AMP were specifically translated to be as accurate to the Greek as possible. Through many many Greek studies I have found very few times were the Lockman Foundation could have done a better job. Of all the Greek scholars I know "they all use the NASB and the AMP. Now, the controversy has really got going as there undoubtably will been numerous responses to my post. Good for you, the NASB and the AMP, although not as popular are the very best translations as far as popularity goes. I have never understood, nor will I ever, why anyone would chose to use a translation that does not give "the exact thought (as much as possible)to the original languages. Greek is not readily translatable into English nor is any other language. The very reason English speakers are so ignorant about many Biblical issues is the language barrier and the enormous depth of the Greek. God bless ya........ InGodITrust |

12 | The APOCALYPSE CODE. | Bible general Archive 3 | InGodITrust | 189742
Hello again justme, Guess I am here tonight, been busy for a while. My opinion, OK, here goes. Hank Hanegraaff has many issues of which I thoroughly disagree. Frankly, I would not use his writings for toilet paper. He has gone against the grain, thrown out dispensationalism (the Biblically balanced one that is) Been extremely critical (over and above) the Pentecostals (of which I am not one but has thrown them all in the rubbish heap.) While many Pentecostals hold to scriptures that are out of balance they are wonderful and God fearing folks. Enough said, I know I am in a lot of trouble now as I have "stuck my neck way out tonight." God bless ya one and all, InGodITrust |

13 | Is it wrong to have pre-martial sex? | Bible general Archive 3 | InGodITrust | 191070
Wolfcreek, It might be better to ask one question at a time. Space 'and time' to answer all these questions at the same time would be prohibitive. #1 Yes it is unproductive to watch or read withcraft. #2 The New Testament teaches that "everything we have belongs to God." How much you actually give depends on your heart. Ten percent in my opinion is a good place to start. #3 No, never date an unbeliever or one who does not believe that Jesus Christ and Him alone is the only way to God the Father. #4 It is not necessary to attend all services. They are meant to meet all the needs and time restrains of every one. How much you attend is up to you. How much of God do you want to learn about? #4 Absolutely it is wrong and very damaging with irreversable consequences to have pre-martial sex. In God's eyes everyone you go to bed with is Biblically your spouse. How many wives do you want? The marriage bed is very very sacred to God and is reserved for your life long partner until you or they pass on into eternity. Hope this helps. If you have specific questions I would suggest you ask them one at a time. InGodITrust |

14 | When is a child guilty of sin? | Bible general Archive 3 | InGodITrust | 191072
Wolfcreek, God has made all things "clean." Ask the apostle Peter. Nothing but nothing can keep you from going to Heaven if you are indeed a child of God and have trusted Christ as Savior. The second you and I were born we are accountable for our sins. The teaching on the "age of accountability" is completely unfounded in Scriptures and has no basis whatever. InGodITrust |
