5 | Missing tribe at Jabesh Gilead? | Judg 21:5 | judydlong | 115912
I guess I'm missing something. At the end of chapter 20 it says that only 600 Benjamites were living and had fled to the rock of Rimmon. The Israelites went back to Benjamin and put the town to the sword. The Israelites realized the tribe of Benjamin would end without any heirs. Their vow to not give their daughters to a Benjamite for a wife pretty much stopped the bloodline. Since there were only 600 left, I felt like there was another tribe that refused to join the assembly which provided these 600 Benjamites with wives.
