1 | where does 3:17 suggest obedience? | NT general | smom1976 | 208754 | ||
I dont think that it was through obedience that Jesus gained the Fathers approval.. Matthew 3:17 And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” This was stated by John Blanchard.. It was through obedience that Jesus gained the Father’s approval (Matthew 3:17) and fulfilled God’s will for His life. And through obedience we will do the same. I suppose this is rather a statement rather than a question but I would like to see others opinions about this. If I am off or have missed something I would like to stand corrected. Thank you. |
