1 | Where and when did Gentiles originate? | Bible general Archive 4 | srbaegon | 207804
Hello homerv4, We have a serious problem then. You see, Ezra 4 says that all that went captive into Babylon were Jews. Ezra 4:1 specifically mentions Judah and Benjamin. We know that Levites came back from captivity, so they were considered Jews. Simeon had its borders within Judah, so they must have gone into captivity and would be called Jews. When the kingdom was initially divided, faithful of each tribe went to live in Judah (2 Chron 11:13-17), so they must have gone into captivity so would have been called Jews. So, I suppose the most you can say is that only those living in Judah could be called Jews. I might give you that one. Steve |

Abraham came from Mesopotamia, when God called him to come out from among his kidred in Gen. chap 12 Abraham was a desendant of Shem. Noah had three sons and there are only three basic races of man on the earth. everyone else is a product of climate and geographical location. God chose The Jews through Abraham to reveal himself to his creation, how we should live and worship God. In Acts 17:26 Paul says that all men are of one blood, meaning Adam. of the four basic blood types all four are found in all three races. So your question should have been where did semites come from? NO!, I am not anti semite, after all Jesus was a Jew.
