Good morning Brad, I guess now the question for me is am I understanding those 2 verses correctly. I see us, Believers, as the aliens being grafted into Israel. The original question was: are those chapters, Ezek. 40-48 about an allegorical, or metaphorical temple, is it the heavenly temple, or the tribulation, or millennial, or maybe the newly renovated earthly temple? I apologize for being redundant, but I hoped that maybe some of you folks had learned or heard some new thoughts on the subject over the past year that you'd be willing to share :-). Shalom Cheri |

It would seem that the more detail given, the less likely man will believe it to be true even though man states he needs more information to believe. I say it is what it says it is. Why are we not asking "GOD show us the great temples and all your wonders". 5And behold a wall on the outside of the house round about, and in the man's hand a measuring reed of six cubits long by the cubit and an hand breadth: so he measured the breadth of the building, one reed; and the height, one reed. |

shabbat shalom lander I'm prone to agree and take those chapters at face value. But, like most believers, I have a bit of a problem with the sacrificial system spoken of - but it seems to include ALL. And it doesn't appear, to me anyway, that this temple is of any time other than the millenium or new heaven and new earth periods which will include only believers, Jews and adoptees (gentiles). I had just wanted to get some other views, most of the folks here are much more mature bible-wise than me :-). Aren't we glad our understanding of things like this have nothing to do with our eternal salvation? Though, I'd still like to get a handle on it. By the way, welcome to the forum. Hope you stay and study with us! Cheri |
