Shalom, brothers and sisters. I have a question about John 8:6,8. When Jesus wrote on the ground, we are not told what He wrote. Is it possible, since He knows everyone's heart, that He was writing the sins of the accusers? I cannot get an understanding on why we are told He wrote on the ground, but not what is written. Any ideas? God bless, and peace be with you all, michael

Hi Michael, I, too, have heard that that is what He wrote. The Bible doesn't say. We'll just have to take it on faith, that whatever Yeshua wrote pricked their hearts and consciences so that none could say, "I am without sin." Or perhaps He stooped down and wrote on the ground to give those accusers a chance to leave without embarrassment, thus passing on grace even to them? Shalom Cheri |

Shalom. That is a good point, considering how even with their accusation and catching her, Jesus was much faster to forgive. God bless, michael

Michael, That's what He was all about, forgiveness. He was the beginning of the New Covenamt that Adonai spoke of thru Jeremiah (31:31-34), "...I will remember your sins no more." You must work the midnight shift? Still no email :-). Shalom Cheri |

Hey, Cheri. Yes, I work from 12-8 am. You? Of all the things Jesus taught, I don't think any of it would do, without understanding the forgiveness that He has for EVERYONE!!!!! It will be about a week for my e-mail to be ready. God bless, michael |

Michael, I have looked into your question about jury duty but chose to leave it up to be answered by someone more knowledgeable in the Scriptures than me (cause I couldn't really find anything). All I can tell you is that God Himself gave civil, ceremonial, and moral laws to His people and all disobediences had their punishments, immediate in the camp and eternal. I work midnights on the weekends plus 3 evening shifts, at home tonight. Email me when you are up and rolling. Cheri |

Michael, Sorry for all the Henry stuff, but my eyes would not allow me to read all of it and sift through it - but the little I did read sounded like maybe what you were looking for. Hope it's all helpful Cheri |
