1 | Salvation for the Gentiles | Bible general Archive 4 | Val | 219632
God from the beginning offered salvation to the gentiles. We see this in the third chapter of Genesis. Abel was righteous, Cain was not. As time went on all mankind became exceedingly wicked except for Noah found in Genesis the sixth chapter. Thus the flood came and mankind began again with Noah and his three sons. Salvation means believing God. In the old testament people were saved by looking forward to the birth of Christ. In the present people are saved by looking back to the cross. Mankind has always had an opportunity to believe in the one true God. In the new testament we see the first gentile convert is Cornelius. You can find this in the book of Acts. Before that time people became what we call proselytes to the Jewish faith in Jehovah God. Christ broke down that dividing wall.

Salvation was not available to mankind, until the Atoning Sacrifice made by Jesus. What source have you used for your definition? "Salvation means believing God" Where would one find in the Bible, people were saved in this manner? "In the old testament people were saved by looking forward to the birth of Christ" Blessings in Jesus YenIsaRap |
