1 | ...the LORD blessed the sabbath ..holy" | Bible general Archive 3 | mbaska | 172937 | ||
"...therefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day and made it holy." - in Genesis If God "Blessed" and "made it Holy", is it for ever, for Him or us? How does this sabbath day relate to us? Not by what the commandment in Exodus says but by what God has done to this day in Genesis. Do not provide anything related to the "day was changed to Sunday" ... that is just a pure lie!! .. no Biblical proof .. don't go there .. the importance is what did God mean by providing the inspired statement to Moses when he wrote Genesis? |

Dear mbaska, Your declaration regarding the doctrine of the Christian Sabbath left only three possible conclusions: You were either Sabbatarian, Jewish, or Moslem. Moslem wasn't likely, since you made reference to the Mosaic Law. If you were Jewish the last thing that you'd object to would be the topics of Christian orthopraxy. Furthermore, we frequently have Seventh Day Adventists jump onto the forum with mono-thematic posts regarding this very topic. Again, you are encouraged to use the "Search" feature. By the way, the term Sabbatarian is not a derogatory one. It simply means one who observes Saturday as the Sabbath. Consequently, I was not being rude, but simply acknowledging your doctrinal predisposition. Your "pure lies" assertion was, however, extremely divisive. That is a practice that is not only eschewed by the "Terms of Use," but will also be detrimental to your ability to persuade anyone of the merits of your position. In Him, Doc |
