Thank you for your post annointed child. A spiritual body yes, but also still a physical one, we are told quite a lot in the Bible about the spiritual body. Read 1 Cor 15:42-58. John 20:19-23. Luke 24:31-43. John 20:15. Luke 24:31. A spiritual body is flesh and bone, has internal organs, lungs, a digestive system, is able to appear, and dissappear at will, can pass through solid material, has the same marks it had before death (nail prints), is not allways recognised at first. |

Dear Brother ebrain, That passage in 1 Corinthians was the only didactic one that came to mind. I had a pastor who believed that it was suggesting some kind of temporary body for use by those in the "interim state" (between death and the resurrection). For me personally, though, I've never felt the Bible said enough about it all to be conclusive, though. In Him, Doc |
