Huron, Well, there is no accounting for what some people believe and no argument that will covince them. I would pose the question let him mull it over for a decade or two and refuse to accept any irrational response he may give as irrational. For extra credit you may want to look into the philospohical concept of Nominalism as it has been applied to theology for about 600 years. That is at the root of the problem here. I would guess your brother is a Monergistic Calvinist, with influences from Karl Barth also. Emmaus |
