ominious: Your post is ridiculous. In your post you say that the biblical understanding of numbers comes mostly from writing not found in our Bible. Are you familiar with 2 Timothy 3:16, that all Scripture is God-breathed? Well, I am. And I am not buying that the Spirit of God had to depend on occult non-scriptural writings to give Him an understanding of numbers. As I enjoined you in a previous post, base your answers and comments on Scripture or don't answer or comment at all. This is a Bible study forum. Treat it as such or find yourself another hitching post for your steed. --Hank

okay guys, i am not recomending kabalah to anyone. he asked a question, concerning numerology, he stated that seven represented completion, there are no biblical teachings on numerology, the only place i ever came across numerical symbology defined was in kabalistic writings. i am not practicing it or condoning it i was merely trying to answer his question. of course over the years i have come in contact with it as well as many other things, as i'm sure many of you have. i know the teachings of the bible are supreme, and not to be mingled with other phylosophy. and by the way to whoever wrote that all scripture was to be taken literally, your wrong! do you really expect a seven headed dragon to come out of the ocean? you guys sure are judgmental.
