GB I'm not sure it is stated as such. Jesus talked about his return and I guess by the fact of omission we can assume nothing else will occur before. I would think if something else was to take place such as a “great prophet” say Mohammed (not) Jesus would have told us to watch for him but instead Jesus said watch for Me. Further there are no prophesies that must be fulfilled before Jesus’ return that would prophesize a coming future revelation. So this is conclusion is more or less reached out the silence rather than a verse saying you got everything your ever gonna get. EdB |

Actually, the deeper I get into scripture, the more I come to the realization that scripture as a whole, says many things that it does not say dirrectly. I thought sure that I had read your thought in scripture. That: "Jesus said the next great event would be His return." It may be unwritten, but I believe that it is there. GB |
