Hello tgbishop, I wasn't sure if this was answered. I would say it's God's holiness: Is 6:3 (NASB) And one called out to another and said, "Holy, Holy, Holy, is the LORD of hosts, The whole earth is full of His glory." Steve |

Hi, Steve. Thank you for posting about God's attribute. Having considered it for a while I couldn't see a way to make one stand out above the others. I imagine from God's perspective they are all equal. It sure is hard to wrap our finite minds around the things of God! Anyway, it is interesting that, of all the attributes of God, holy is the only one that is repeated (to my knowledge) 3 times (Isa 6:3 and Rev 4:8). I hope others will respond as well. It certainly makes for an interesting discussion. In Him, Karen |

Hello Karen, It's a difficult choice! I could easily have said His goodness. When Moses asked God to show him His glory, the Lord replied, "I will make all my goodness pass before you and will proclaim before you my name 'The Lord.'" (Exod 33:19 ESV). The only reason I lean toward holiness is because it's proclaimed three times. Steve |
