Hank, I know, My whole point on my second post Might not have worded it perfectly. But you must take the Context of the word what the person is useing. For example Bitch which is of course female dog. Now if someone asked you what is your dog. and you say bitch. It is correct. Now if you call someone a b* you are still calling them a dog. but you are using it as an insulting way. I think the same thing if you got to go urinate its ok to use the word thats in the king james version. Although I personally don't. |

Darcy - I quite agree with you. The language of the gutter ought not to be the language of the Christian. It is entirely possible to use demeaning and offensive speech that, while it may fall short of profanity, is nevertheless unbecoming to a child of God. Our Lord said, "But I say unto you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment." And the third chapter of James warns about the untamable tongue. --Hank | ||||||
