Why ask Why? Why ask Where? Tim: Why do you annoy users with questions about pesky details, such as "Where is the Scripture that makes this statement?" Didn't you know that this is the Freewill, Freethinking, Freewheeling Forum? At least, that is my perception of it. From my reading of the majority of posts, I thought this was the Op/Ed page of the NY Times. Now we have to back up our opinions with Scripture? How unfair! With tongue in cheek, kalos |

Greetings Kalos! :-) Sorry, my friend! I will try not to be so unreasonable in the future. ;-) Seriously though, I try to hold myself to the same standard. If Scripture doesn't support something, I try not to state it as fact, but only opinion. If my view is only opinion, I try not to consider it as essential. Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

Tim: Seriously, I also hold myself to the same standard that you use. Occasionally I give my opinion. But, when I do, I try to remember to label it as my opinion, and not as doctrine or dogma. As I've said many times before, Everyone has the right to his opinion. But no one has the RIGHT to be WRONG in his facts. Moreover, opinion that is not based on fact is worthless. And opinion about biblical matters that is not biblically based is worse than worthless. It is nothing more than mere speculation masquerading as fact. Grace to you, kalos |
