In THE ultimate confrontation when we meet up with almost unbearable circumstances like that of our beloved example in Job and his wife encouraged him to "Curse God and die," we must hold fast to the last and really only thing that matters most and that is our faith in God. All else pales in significance. HOWEVER, I doubt that you really are anywhere close to that level of suffering as Job and he came through it like a champ. Go to your wife and start a dialouge, open up to her and encourage her to do likewise. Identify the weak areas of your lives together and seek God's assistance through study of His Word AND constant prayer. If both of you pray together and often, you'll be well on your way to great improvement. If the doctor has given up on you, go to another doctor and get a second opinion or maybe even a third but if you're convinced there's nothing more to be said from the medical community, then you really need to put your trust in Him. IF it's God's will, then He can heal you. If not, then count your blessings and each precious moment, especially with those whom you love. We'll pray for you and encourage you as best we can. God bless. --Rowdy |
