Darcy Good for you! I have a pastor friend that pronounces all hard to pronounce names as Bubba. Sometimes he will go through a passage that lists three or four hard names calling them bubba1, bubba2, bubba3 and etc. If it is real problem for you there is a book called "That's easy for you to say" the book is fairly cheap under 20 dollars and it comes with a CD which when installed will actually pronounce through you computers speakers any name or pronoun you click on. By clicking on it a few times you can get the hand of saying the name. The book is in most Christian books stores and is sold by CBD. EdB |

EdB - That idea about Bubba 1, Bubba 2, Bubba 3 is hilarious. I'm frequently called upon to read aloud from the Bible in study groups and almost invariably it's a passage that contains so many unpronounceable names that they shove it off on me. Next time, I'm going with the Bubba routine. .... But, on the other hand, last night you and I mastered anthropomorphism, so these Bible names should be a snap :-) -Hankenstein Hauptbahnhof. | ||||||
