How do you know John did. If you look in the NKJV the He is capitalized signifying deity. The implication is the He in the passage is talking about Jesus. However the passage does not say and nobody else so the possibilities are endless. It could be Jesus only, John only, Jesus and John, John and everyone else, or Jesus and every one else. The important part to remember from this passage is we see the trinity, Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God. to guess about who else saw plays down this important point. EdB |

The NKJV has a footnote that show's confusion as to the Capitalization of the He saw, referring to John or Jesus in Matt. John 1:32,33 is clear on the subject of who saw. In this context Mark is not wrong in indicating that Jesus also saw it. For He to would be expecting the sign | ||||||
