Hello, Jim D: Yes, it does. Some unimportant historical details in the Bible are false, but the important stuff is true. The false stuff is unimportant, so don't sweat it. How do you know the important historical events are true? |

Lionstrong,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Maybe you are right and part of the bible is false. And maybe they got it wrong about Jesus too. Maybe he only healed some of the people he is said to of healed. Maybe he didn't really walk on water. Maybe he is really buried somewhere and didn't rise from the dead. Maybe the men who rewrote the bible added a bunch of stuff that didn't really happen to make it sound more interesting. Lionstrong, it is called FAITH! "Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not see" (Heb 11:1). Faith is being able to to know that the bible is the INFALLIBLE (exempt from uncertainity, fallacy or error) word of God. If someone does not believe it is the unfallible word of God, I question if that person should be answering posts on a forum that is based on the bible being without any error. |

Keep telling it like it is, prayon! It's refreshing to read a post by a true believer whose head is not muddled with metaphysical musings and philosophical pipe dreams. --Hank | ||||||
