Hi, Jesus made a few jars of best wine from water for His guests at a wedding party. Many Pastors and strong believers would advise believers and non-believers to abstain from drinks which have alcohol in it. How can one reconcile this advice with what Jesus was doing? With Love in Christ. FytRobert |

Greetings FytRobert! This question has been dealt with many times before. There seem to be two distinct positions. One position says that all 'wine' is alcholic, therefore, only drunkness is a sin. The second position says that 'wine' can be used to describe many things in Scripture. Some would then argue that a case could be made for not drinking alcohol at all. To read these positions, simply type 'wine' into the search box. You will find all the discussions you could possibly want! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |
