Hi, Watchman... The two witnesses you mention are in Revelation 11:3. I do not find them definitively identified in Scripture. Nonetheless, don't they die in Revelation 11:7? Consequently, the two witnesses wouldn't fit the bill as the answer to our questioner. Come to think on it, though, Elijah -- a prophet of the Old Testament -- does not experience death... but does also appear in the New Testament (on the Mount of Transfiguration). Maybe Roy is asking one of those trick questions. :-) I remember someone somewhere asking once: "Who is the oldest man in the bible who died before his father?" Which is a puzzler, because if he died before his father, then his father would necessarily be older!
