Wecome, and I think you are looking for the following. Matthew 16:2-3 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, ye say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red. 3And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowring. O ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky; but can ye not discern the signs of the times? Have a great day,CDBJ |

Hi EdB, That is one that usually works, unless you live in Ohio. I have a sailboat on Lake Erie and have been bitten by that saying a few times. VHF radio is a little more accurate but they didn't exist when this was made popular. I think that something as dramatic as the first advent of Christ went unnoticed yet people could determine what was supposedly going to happen, weather wise, just by watching the sky. Have a great day, CDBJ |

CDBJ Having lived and fished on Lake Erie for 12 years I know of what you speak. However now that I'm in Florida that saying usually holds up pretty well. EdB |
