1 | What is the size of Temple at Jerusalem? | Bible general Archive 1 | MATILDA | 88433 | ||
2 Chronicles 3:1 - 4:22 refers to "house of the Lord at Jerusalem on Mount Moriah" which Solomon built. Please tell me in laymen's terms what the measurements mean for size of the "house of God" referred to in these passages. What does a cubit measure? What book or books would you recommend for a study of the Exodus of the people of Isreal out of Egypt; also, is this information available online? Thanks for your help. Matilda |

A cubit equals 18 inches. It is based upon the length of an average man's forearm, from the Tips of the fingers to the elbow, which totals 18 inches on average. So, now use simple math to convert from Cubits to inches, then inches to feet. As for a book on the Exodus, what are you looking for specifically? Or are you wanting a general reference?
