In Gen. 3:24, after God had drove man out of the garden, he placed a cherubim and a flaming sword to guard the tree of life. What happened to the Garden of Eden, is it still there today? |

Burnette; Good question The Garden of Eden existed before the great flood of Noah's day. And the whole world that existed was destroyed. The world we see today after the flood is not the same world that existed during the time of Adam and eve. 2Pe 3:5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: 6 Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: Grace and peace zach† |

Burnette, The Garden of Eden will never be found. It is a teaching regarding the presence of God in our lives. If you will recall, God's first commandment to Adam was to "Dress and Keep" the garden.[Gen.2:15]; "And the Lord God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and keep it". The garden did actually exist at one time, but it is not important to us now if we find it, or some archeological remnant. The garden represents the Kingdom of God, which is the presence of God in our lives. We are to dress and tend to it. We are to obey the Word of God, and you will "stay" in the garden. If not, you probably know what happened...God Bless...believer57 | ||||||
