The flaw in you logic is that you appear to hold God accountable for the sins of man. That aside, are you trying to say that Native Americans were peaceful? If so, you should review the history of the Iriquois, Shawnee, Sioux and others Native American warriors who were constantly at battle with each other, often brutally. The truth is that there are no people groups that have a spotless past. Should we then say that there is no hope? Of course not. We should continue to work toward improving the relationships between people groups. The past cannot be changed, but a better future is within our grasp. Blessings Curt |

I never said they were peacefull. Quite the oposite the majority. Blood thirsty even. But that was their God given write. Who are we to say they must change and then kill them when they disagree. | ||||||

God given right? Why did Native Americans fight among themselves? Different gods giving different rights to different tribes? No, they fought over the land like humans everywhere have done throughout history... no different than the Europeans who came here... peacefully at first, but not peacefully as conflicts arose. Plenty of blame to go around. Your logic seems to say "whoever is here first wins." Using this logic, white people should not permit black people to move into their neighborhood. Is this the white person's "God-given" right? No, we learn to put our differences behind us and live together. Love your neighbor as yourself... this is our God-given right. Admittedly, we have failed many times at this... but we don't lower the bar... we continue to teach love, strive for it, and hope we do better. Curt |
