Dear PrincessSnicker6, The Old Testament tells us of the circumstances of the Creation and gives us the Covenant of Law that God gave us through His servant, Moses. It was the forerunner of better things to come...when God sent His Son, Jesus Christ to bring us a better, more perfect covenant. The New Testament unveils the mysteries of the Old Testament, which only make sense in light of Jesus, the Christ. The church is not a building. The church is the people of God as a body. We hold meetings and ceremonies in buildings that we call "church" but God's people are the church. I hope this sheds some light on your question. |
