1 | Do you know people in heaven? | Bible general Archive 1 | Goldengirl | 2929
I believe we will know all our family in heaven and I also believe whole-heartedly that my animals will also be with me in heaven! I know many disagree with that and it is their right too, just as it is my right to belive my way. Why would God create us and the animals to be together and interact if when we died and went to heaven we did not know anything about each other?! I also think we will NOT remember our lost loved ones.

Paul wrote the Corinthians: Ch. 14:12 "For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.." We have been known better than we know anything! Everything is going to be completely different. The cares of earth will not be ours in heaven, how could we really be concerned about things of this earth or even the people we know now in time? Our trust in going to heaven must be in God Himself and not in the experience we will have or not have. We will know God also as well as we have been known. If we really think about such full knowledge of God we are likely to be consumed with Him and not with anything we know now. Remember to factor in the Luke 24 account of the risen Lord was not at first recognized by two men who knew him before He was risen. |
