1 | Is there forgiveness for all sin? | Rev 3:19 | ydolomite | 60863
I know that the word repent has a compound definition and that is to ask for forgiveness and turn away from. If this is so is there forgiveness for sin done wilingly? Even if this person knows that they will commit this sin again?
2 | Is there forgiveness for all sin? | Rev 3:19 | srbaegon | 60864
Hello ydolomite If it's known beforehand that the sin will re-occur, we can hardly call it repentance, because there was no turning away. If, however, there IS a definite turning away with no intention of committing the sin (although it may happen) then we could call it repentance. Does that help? Steve |
