One of my associate pastors recently said he does not ask forgiveness for his sins because he already asked once and to keep asking is like a "clanging noise" in God's ear. Is there scripture to back this up? | ||||||

Of course there is: 1 John 1:9. If we "confess our sin" he is faithful.... The key words are if and confess. | ||||||

The only way to refute that is if it is the same presumptous sin over and over and over....eventually God will turn you over to a reprobate mind or your heart will continue to harden to the point you stop repenting and you give yourself over. | ||||||
