1 | Is it just I don't wantto know the truth | Deut 5:16 | Morant61 | 47687
Greetings Lilgirl4Christ! I think that you have received some excellent answers to your question, but allow me to respond from the perspective of a father who has been through a similar experience with his daughter. Trust your father's instincts and obey his commands in this matter. My daughter was the victim of older men who preyed on her. She has totally ruined her life. She got invovled with an older man. She has been drawn into every sin that you can name. Her very life is not at risk. Your father has been placed in your life for a reason. He is there to protect and guide you. You may not agree with or understand why he has placed these restrictions upon you, but he has done so to protect you. I understand that you want to help this other person, but your first priority as a 13 year old is to obey your father. If you have a local church, I would suggest that you talk to your pastor about this issue. We're all praying for you! Your Brother in Christ, Tim Moran |

2 | Is it just I don't wantto know the truth | Deut 5:16 | Annaciah | 47697
Hey lil girl, I'm with your brother in Christ on this one. No doubt that's who sent him! Know that without question God is more capable than anyone to take care of your friend in need. He is also most capable of taking care of you. One way in which he does that is by his commandments. He has asked you to honor your father. Do this and trust God to take care of your friend. Take this from a girl that regrets not having that guidance when she was 13 and now so many years later has to deal with the consequences of her actions. Thank God that you have been blessed by Him with a father to guide you! You grab hold of God and your father and don't look back..and spare yourself alot of unnecessary pain! |
