2 | How does Deut. 4:9 relate to my life? | Deut 4:9 | srbaegon | 28621 | ||
Think of it as an elongated testimony time. Sharing what the Lord has done in your life is an excellent teaching tool to young minds showing how the Lord is faithful in His dealings. That's why we find such a high premium in the OT on setting up stones and pillars and psalms of remembrance. The call is to remember the work of the Lord. Even in the Lord's Supper we have this portrayed--remembering Him. If we fail to tell the next generation, the people forget and move away from Him. Steve |
