1 | If God knows all,why create the universe | Deut 29:29 | kalos | 13789
Whenever I see a speculative, hypothetical question that begins with "If" or "What if", red flags go up all over the place. Since you see fit to question God's motives, may I ask, what's with the user name "Sir Pent"? In Scripture, the "serpent" is a symbol for Satan, the devil. I'm not here to insult you, read your mind, or call you anything. But I can't help but wonder: what is YOUR motive in calling yourself by a name which, when pronounced aloud, sounds like "serpent?" |

2 | May we return to the original question? | Deut 29:29 | Sir Pent | 13792
1. The only reason the I started my question with the word "if" is because it is a statement which some would disagree with (although probably not on this forum). However, God's omniscience, is a necessary assumption for the question to make any sense. I do not intend to be merely hypothetical, but am genuinely interested in discovering God's purpose here, as I hope are you. 2. As for my user name, I apologize that you were offended, but the meaning is clearly stated in my personal preferences, and is actually biblical. Anyone can click on my name to find out. 3. I would appreciate any input that you have as to the original question. |

3 | May we return to the original question? | Deut 29:29 | EdB | 13807
Doesn't Deuteronomy 29:29 which you assigned to your question pretty much sum up the solution or answer to your question? God hasn't revealed to us why He did what He did. To offer speculation would put us into opposition of the truth contained in Deut 29:29. The answer does not belong to us.
