1 | The meaning of the word Akador | Deut 13:3 | BradK | 157420 | ||
Bows: What we are dealing with is subjective,personal experience verse the Word of God! As I read it, you are awfully close to if not, endorsing mysticism in your reply. You are correct to point him to the Word of God, but do you honestly think what he received was from the Lord??? How do you know it wasn't RODAKA? I think of 1 John 4:1: "Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." We need to leave subjective, silly experiences where they belong. They have no place in the serious study of Gods' Word nor for the mature believer! Speaking the Truth in Love, BradK |

Hi BradK, Your response seems to be saying that God can't speak to people through dreams anymore and when he did they were subjective, silly experiences. This smacks of blasphemy. God can do anything he wants and what he does is always right. So if He can and wants to, God will speak through dreams. I agree we need to test the spirits to see whether they be from come God, but the pass or fail is not based on one's opinion, but on scripture. All I did was answer the man's question and supply scriptural basis for action. The action he is to take is not based on a dream, but on scripture. The point is obeying scripture. If he needs a dream to encourage him to do that, who are you to judge the weakness of this brother and the method God chooses to use to guide him to obedience? Speaking the truth in love, Bows44 |

Hello Bows44, Yes, you gave scripture in your answer. However, since this is a StudyBibleForum and not a DreamsInterpretationForum, we need to let those who ask these questions know that such are off-limits. Steve |
