Greetings newcomer and welcome to the forum! According to the McArthur Study Bible while sacrificial offerings were brought to the appointed centers for worship as well as the central sanctuary, the killing and eating of meat for regular eating could be engaged in anywhere. The only restriction on eating non-sacrificial meat was the prohibition of the blood and the fat; the blood being the symbol and vital element of life itself. This differed from the rules during their encampment. prayon | ||||||
