2 | When are children not blessed? | Heb 12:2 | EdB | 81986 | ||
redangel2828 The only real mention of illegitimate children in the New Testament is Hebrews 12:8 which points out a real danger of missing fatherly guidance in their lives. Hebrew 12:8 is using it to show without correction your like a illegitimate or fatherless child. In the Old Testament there are prohibitions against illegitimate children but in most cases it is referring to children born to one pagan parent. God looks at each of us not our parents, what the child does with his or her life and whether they accepts Christ or not will determine his blessedness. EdB |
