I would say that church membership is as much of a requirement as prayer is. Neither are a requirement for salvation, however they are both a requirement if you want a deep and intimate relationship with Christ. It is difficult to have an intimate relationship with Christ unless you are able to communicate with him through prayer and are part of his body, the church. They are both a NEED for Christian believers. We NEED encouragement from other believers and other believers NEED our encouragement and support also. | ||||||
