1 | Superior Forgiveness | Heb 10:10 | DocTrinsograce | 125659
The book of Hebrews is all about the superiority of Christ. In this passage we see that in the old covenant the one offering a sacrifice did not have the full expiation of his sins. He had to return year after year and often more frequently than that. (If I had lived in those days I would have had to go to the temple daily!) Christ, however, afforded a superior sacrifice in that it is effectual for all believers for all time. Our full pardon is procured. We are sanctified and our sins perfectly expiated.
