I have a friend that is having a hard time believing in Paul's writings. They asked me if I believed the Bible was inspired by God. Of course I said yes. Then they asked if I believed book. "The Purpose Driven Life" was inspired by GOd? I again said yes. So there response to me was..."Then why wasn't it in the Bible? There are so many books and lititure out there that was "insired by GOd" Why should what Paul worte be in the bible over any one else? It's just letters and they weren't even written to me?" My question is...how do I explain to them that it is truth? How do help them believe in what Paul wrote???
2 | Paul's writings is it truth? | 2 Tim 3:16 | wisdom111 | 174477
Paul writings are valid and can be trusted, because he is the Apostle who was not a disciple, but Christ Jesus met him on the road to Damascus, the encounter was personal. I trust what Paul wrote, before I trust what man wrote.Man focus is on monies and how many books can he sell. Some are half truths and others are man thinking and rational ideas. Paul did not receive an award for the number of books written nor did he receive any monetary proceeds for his writings. Every Word was inspired by god Himself, the reference is: 2 Timothy 3:16 validate God's Word, who inspired these truths.
