1 | Were priests electrocuted? | 2 Tim 2:15 | wilyelder | 213460
I don't watch that network. They may have been referring to the history in which the Sadducees were appointed as high priests during the second temple period. The Sadducees were more political than religious. So when they would go into the Holy of Holies on the day of Atonement, being impure, they would be struck dead by God. So, the Pharisees, who supervised them, eventually required them to wear a bell around their neck and a rope around their ankle so that if they were struck dead they could pull them out of the Holy of Holies without getting killed themselves.

Well no, I don't watch that network anymore either, it did not seem to be based on biblical truth. My friend who I consider to be a very strong Christian was raving about the show, and how the host of the show backed it up with science. There was something about the placement of the choice of metals that would cause enough electrical charge to kill the priest. I was just looking for some sort of response to give to my friend, but since this was first posted last Oct, I must apologize at this point for not remembering more of the details. Lord Bless, keliy |
