Do you think that to what religion a child is born into defines what they become? For example, a child born into a family who are muslim would grow up as one and take it as the one and only truth (which is true for many of them). So what would you say about that, because it's really hard that way if you were taught something like that..... | ||||||

iccnh919, Greetings and welcome to the forum. In answer to your question, absolutly.I heard someone comment a number of years ago thatone can go no further than what they have been taught. There is a lot of truth to that statement. I grew up in a baptist church as a child and there were a lot of things I had to unlearn and learn over when nine years ago I understood that I really had not asked Jesus to be my savior. You are more than welcome to read my profile, that will explain more to you about where I've been. But the great thing God has given us in this day and time is his written Word along with a lot of men and women of God who teach it quite well and quite acurately. So change is always possible,we dont have to stay ignorant or uninformed. God has provide people with everything they need to be in or get into a right relationship with him. You are right it can be hard but not impossible. In Christ, lionheart |
