Steve, if women are never to teach men how come Pricilla taught Apollos? No, the bible never contradicts itself but I don't see where you think I was saying it does. |

Prayon, Act 18:26 does not say that Priscilla taught Apollos. She did not teach (didasko, kataggello, katecheo ...) him. At best her husband and she who explained (ektithemi) to Apollos. It is a different word than teach. However, I think she may not of said very much, if it all. "But when Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they took him aside and explained to him the way of God more accurately" Act 18:26b). More later ... Steve |
