2 | Are tithes to the church only acceptable | Phil 2:12 | terrib | 116711 | ||
Dear Hood Rat, Absolutely! Whatever God has given you, you can return to Him by service. Paul states that the Gifts of the Spirit are diverse and we should use these gifts that the Spirit has given to God's glory. (Jam 2:18 KJV) ...I will shew thee my faith by my works. Paul praises the works of his fellow workers. Whatever you give to God as your tithe or offering is between you and Him. For it is written, "work out your own salvation" (Phi 2:12 KJV). (Mat 6:4 KJV) That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly. Consider 2 Corinthians chapter 9 Blessings to you, terrib |
